Downshire Golf Club

If you happen to stumble across a finer pay-and-play municipal course in the Berkshire area then we'd like to here about it. Downshire is living proof that not all 'munis' are mud tracks walked all over by the public - this is an honest, hard working club that is reaping the benefits of a forward thinking committee and is slowly but surely setting an example to some of the 'members only' clubs in the surrounding area.

Downshire is a mature, 27-year-old course that benefits from the best of the Berkshire countryside.

The complex has had a number of operators in its history, but since 1999 it has been managed by Bracknell Forest Borough Council.
