Buckinghamshire Golf Club

Designed by John Jacobs, Buckinghamshire golf course is bounded and crossed by the Rivers Colne and Misborne. It is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, thus enhancing the pleasure of playing there, although beyond the aesthetic splendour lurks a demanding course that is a stern test for any level of golfer.

In particular, the water which comes into play on seven of the first twelve holes has caught out many a wayward shot, never more frequently perhaps than on the par 4 seventh. Measuring 387 yards off the back tees, water weaves across the fairways demanding an accurate tee shot and the lake to the right, trees to left and bunkers in front of the green makes for a difficult approach.
