For a course as popular as this one it is nothing short of a miracle that it remains in absolute pristine year-round condition. One recent visitor said it had the best fairways he'd seen in a long time - and that was in November!

Badgemore Park opened in 1971 and was designed by notable golf architect Robert Sandow. His job was to turn the 120 acres of mature woodland and landscaped park, which surrounded the former estate of the McAlpine family, into a beautiful 18-hole golf course. He did just that, and the result of his labour is still being celebrated to this day.

The course is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is easily accessible from the historic town of Henley-on-Thames.
